How do I get a golf ball out of the shower drain?

The drain cover was off and long story short, a golf ball ended up in the pipe. It is in the pipe, but I can't get it out with my hands, but I can touch it and move it a tiny bit.

I don't care about the ball, but it is clogging the drain. How do I get a golf ball out of the shower drain? If it's stuck, get a drill with a long magnetic driver bit and a screw on the end. Drive the screw into the ball, then pull it out with the screw.

If it's not stuck, do what the other guy said. How do I get a golf ball out of the shower drain?
Use the hose on a vacuum that should work for you.How do I get a golf ball out of the shower drain? You can try a piece of gum, putty or a dab of super glue on the end of a stick, give it a good stick and pull it out. Another option would be something with a suction cup on the end...similar to a Nerf dart.
Find a leng of wire approximately 18 inches long, curl the end of the wire into a circle that is slightly bigger than the golf ball. Bend the circle so that it will fit into the drain and slide the loop in between the golfball and the side of the drain. Once you have the loop down next to the ball press the wire against the ball and slowly pull it up. That should result in the ball being pulled free. How do I get a golf ball out of the shower drain? If you are able to get to U bend ,or what ever you call it, which is between drain from shower and waste water drains.

You may be able to push golf ball into the U bend , then disconnect and remove golf ball, re connect U bend

Were you putting or driving?

Just curious.

You don't have a small child with buck teeth, do you?

My first thought would be to fill your tub with sand, then go at the ball with a wedge. Mine always gravitate toward the sand, but again, I don't guess this will work either.

I agree with the drill guy, but you'll need to shore up the ball so that it doesn't spin when you push in the screw. Carefully jam a screw driver or chopstick in between the ball %26amp; the drain.

Use a Phillips head drywall or deck screw.

Try sucking it out with a shop vac. Or maybe pull the pipe off and push it out with a stick.
Drill a small hole and then sxcrew in a drywall screw. Grab the screw either with your fingers or a pair of pliers and pull it out.

or

Soak up all the water and apply thick super glue to the ball and a string and try to pull it out

Use a wine corkscrew. It will work perfectly, provided it can reach the surface of the golf ball.

good luck
