The best way you can play college golf is to get a scholarship. The best way you can get a scholarship is to attend the IJGA, the International Junior Golf Academy in Hilton Head, SC where Tiger's coach, Hank Haney is the head instructor. It's a full academy with academics in Heritage Academy, where you can finish your high school, and you live in house dormas with room mates that are students also, and house parents. Students that go to the IJGA, are all aspiring golfers from all around the world that want to play college golf, and get a scholarship, and hopefully go pro. Students that attend the IJGA, attend it by a full school year or semester, so if your already a senior, you can try to apply for next semester, but most likely you won't be able to get a scholarship. In the academy, you get to play and practice, and get lessons, tips, and get coached by Hank Haney and his instructors, and play tournaments with other students, playing tournaments for the IJGT, the International Junior Golf Tour, and for those tournaments, that is where colleges see you for scholarships. But if you were not able to get a scholarship, you can stay there for their post-graduate program, where they do the same thing, and go to school in the same time, which would most likely do if you go here. There is a show on the Golf Channel that shows lives of students in the IJGA. The show is School of Golf: Hilton Head Island starring Hank Haney, and it's on the Golf Channel every Tuesday in 11 PM ET/8 PT, and every Wednesday in 10 PM ET/7 PT. I highly recommend watching this show before considering going to the IJGA. But I think the IJGA is the best way if you want to play college golf with a scholarship, but it's kind of too late if your already a senior, but if you want to become pro, you can still go there, and it will help alot if you stay for their post-graduate program. You shouldn't miss out on this opportunity if you want to suceed in golf, and make it your living. For more information about the IJGA, and the show School of Golf: Hilton Head Island, the websites are below in the sources. How do you find the contact info for college golf coaches ? Is there a list of colleges that have a golf team ?Honestly, if you are good they will find you. But you can make an athletic profile at berecruited.com i believe it is. make a profile with all your HONEST stats. for colleges will contact you through that as well, you have to include your gpa and golf scores and everything.
