How to make a golf ball fall over a rubber band car?

For our engineering we have to make a rubber band car that must got 10 to 20 feet and then drop a golf ball inside a three feet target. The problem is trying to find a way to make the golf ball yet. So i haven't any help on the internet or in books.How to make a golf ball fall over a rubber band car?How about having the ball in an open short vertical cylinder slightly offset over the rubber band. When the rubber band tension is mostly used up the ball can slip past it.



Measure the distance till the ball falls and adjust your tension and starting position.
