How old do you have to be to legally drive a golf cart around your neighborhood?

I live in maryland and I am 14 but my dad has an old golf cart in our garage and I was wondering if I would be able to drive it around our neighborhood for fun. if I cant I would at least want to know how old I have to be.How old do you have to be to legally drive a golf cart around your neighborhood?Golf carts are not street legal regardless of the age of the driver. To make it street legal you would need headlights, brake lights, turn signals, reflectors, and probably a whole lot more.
