How do you think all the other PGA golfers feel about Tiger Woods' scandal and his return to golf?

In the newspapers, they're saying that Tiger is getting a warm reception at the Masters. But are there any PGA golfers you think who are rooting against him, and that feel that he's ruined the sport of golf for them with the negative publicity he's brought from his scandal? How do you think all the other PGA golfers feel about Tiger Woods' scandal and his return to golf? That is what happens when you let a colored boy into the country club.
I don't think they are rooting against him, I think they want to compete with him without all the media circus that entails the scandal. I think Tiger is just showing how much of an ego maniac he is by having press conferences throughout these tournaments. He should just shut his mouth and play golf that is what he is paid to do

Additional to Rof

I am only saying that Tiger is sure picking and choosing when to give these press conferences and interviews at times when golfers are getting ready to gear up for a weekend grind or like when Furyk won his tourney last month and they cut away because Tiger was giving an interview. Big Deal blah blah, it's all to inflate Tiger's ego. I am just saying look bro he already apologized for doing Elin wrong, so just shut up and play golf. If he wins even better. But he is trying to bring the spotlight onto him because he is coming back, and that is wrongHow do you think all the other PGA golfers feel about Tiger Woods' scandal and his return to golf?If they say he is getting a warm reception, we should be happy about that instead of looking to stir up more crap about this. And to the first answerer, I think if the public would shut their mouths and forget about this, then Tiger would too.

I think everyone is forgetting that no one is perfect. No, is was not good that tiger cheated on his wife. BUT.........We have ALL screwed up in one way or another. Should we judge Tiger's actions to be worse than ours? For the public to continue making all these criticisms is ridiculous.

Bottom line, unless we are all willing to publicly announce all of the stupid mistakes we have made, we have no business publicly slamming Tiger, or anyone else for that matter.

While you're giving me a thumbs down, ask yourself if you have ever done anything stupid. My guess is that the thumbs down folks are the hypocrites....the ones who are 'allowed' to make mistakes while judging others who screw up.

Edit: Of course he gives his press conferences when golfers are gearing up! Most of the people who need to hear what he has to say will be watching then! And if he has an ego, so what. No crime there. We all have one. If his ego is bigger, then ok, its bigger. Doesn't bother me.
don't care, but you know what, it's between his wife and his issue, not our problem. However, I'll be one of many who will be rooting for him throughout the week for the Master's... i've been dying to see him for months now.. can't wait!
If I was Tiger, when I was supposed to apologize to the public, I would've said, "Screw you. I have nothing to apologize to you for. Nothing. My wife? Maybe. But I'm really not sorry. Just because you can't call up 10 whores at any time is not my problem. Deal with it. Its not your business." Walk away.
As a friend of Tiger, people will be grad for him to back.As a really golfer, I think they want to compete with him too, they won't root against him.
I think they're glad they didn't get caught...tiger wasn't at those parties alone.

he hasn't ruined the sport of golf--there is no talk of anyone NOT watching--everyone wants to see what he can do.

if anything, the other players have expressed resentment that so much concentration is being put on him returning; but they resented him being the lone draw for viewership beforehand too--so nothing new there.

i think they Should be greatful--dude brings the money to the sport.
Honestly I don't really think they care about the scandal, just how it affected his golf game; now I bet they are all 'scared' that the 'scandal' has motivated Tiger to have one of his bests starts to the Masters ever. I don't think they are rooting for or against him. Just praying that he does not stay 'on fire' through the remainder of the tournament.
I think they're probably as sick of hearing about it as the rest of us. Maybe more so because they probably keep getting asked questions about it.

I don't think any pro golfer thinks Tiger ruined the sport of golf - probably just the opposite. Everyone on the PGA tour makes far more money now than they did before Tiger arrived because of Tiger's impact on the popularity of the sport. As for golfers rooting against him, I'm sure they'd rather have him play poorly if they're playing against him. If Tiger plays poorly and finishes below them it means they get more prize money. I don't think there's anything more to them rooting against him than that though.
noone's happier about Tiger's return to golf than other PGA golfers. Golf tournament ratings are cut in half when Tiger doesn't play. If they want anyone to watch or care at all about their game, they better pray Tiger is involved, and playing well.
He's become the anti-hero that still increases ratings and earnings for everyone.

Tiger probably doesn't have any real friends and only talks about himself. He's a legend in his own mind.

Most golfers are probably secretly wishing Tiger has AIDS so that Golf can milk his sob story and they can win tournaments and get rich as Tiger fades to black and dies an agonizing death.

Die Tiger Die, but slooooooooooowly:)
