Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?

A group of my friends and I are looking into buying a bulk load of golf balls against a very fair rate. We would like to bypass the middle guy and shop directly at the manufacturer. Has anybody got experience?Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?do not buy new golf balls. you can buy bulk loads of used golf balls online. you can specify the condition the balls are in and that would dictate the price (better condition, higher price).Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?
I have gone to the Dunlop/Maxfli factory in South Carolina and they have in he past had a factory sale weekend where they open the warehouse to the public and sell off their unshipped inventory- some very good deals on balls and clubs, but I believe hey only dd this in the fall.

I have known some Titleist reps and even they struggle to get Pro Vs- they only have a certain allotmen that they have access to each year, and once sold, they can't get anymore, even the people that work in the factory are limited o what they have access to.

I tried somehing similar in the early 90s, was taking Tileist Professionals (the best ball they ever made) and Maxfli HT Balatas to Japan for resale when I was traveling on business. I tried to buy them in bulk (100 dozen) but couldn't get past the authrorized rep thing.

Doesn't mean it can't be done tho- maybe you'll get lucky.Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?Chances for that happening are little to none. Just imagine if any one could circumvent the retailers( that is what pro shops and golf stores are ) for any reason and do business with the manufacturer) the economy would be in more disarray than it is under Obama. Under certain circumstances, orders for charity tournaments, special outings can be placed through the pro shop for logos, commemorations, etc.
The companies probably ship out so many golf balls a day, especially a big name like Titleist, that they probably wouldn't need your business. My guess is that you guys aren't buying more than 100 Dozen, which is probably what they ship to 1 store and they ship to thousands of stores. I would suggest you contact the pro shop because if you buy a huge bulk load you can probably get anywhere from 5-25 % off.Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?Unless you have an account with the manufacturers they won't deal directly with you. Go to a local retailer (or pro shop) and see if they will do a special wholesale price for you for a bulk order. If you offer to prepay for a good price you might get it done that way. The retailer is more likely to take a reduced margin for a guaranteed sale.Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?
You can but you need to purchase a minimum order which is pretty significant. You don't really save much the only advantage is you can get yours personalized.
Walmart or Sam's Club or CostCo.

All of these companies will have the lowest price and margin (markup) .Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?
